Please join us and the Coonley community for a free event on May 15th starting at 7 p.m. (pre-show at 6:30 p.m.). Spring Fling FAQs
What is Spring Fling?
Spring Fling is Friends of Coonley’s single fundraiser for the current school year. This year, it is virtual and free for all to attend the event which will include a silent auction, raffles and family-friendly entertainment!
When is Spring Fling?
The event is on May 15, 2021. The pre-show begins at 6:30 p.m., with the main event starting at 7:00 p.m. The event will conclude around 8:15 p.m.
Why attend?
All proceeds from Spring Fling directly benefit Coonley students. With Spring Fling being the only fundraiser for Coonley this school year, your support is needed. Thanks to the generosity of committed parents and community members, the funds raised last year at Spring Fling helped provide teaching assistants, technology, arts programs and so much more at Coonley. It is truly fabulous to see the community come together to support our school – plus we have some really great entertainment for you!
Do I need to be there on time?
Yes! The event will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. on our auction site and Vimeo (tune in for the pre-show at 6:30 p.m.). Please plan to have one device to watch and one to participate in the auction and other activities. The event is shorter than usual, so don’t miss out by arriving fashionably late. You’ll be happy you are there!
What happens the night of the event?
On the night of the event, we will “virtually” come together as a community for the kids of Coonley. This year, the event is even more special since we can share it with friends and family!
To enhance your experience, we will have food and beverage packages available for purchase from local establishments (details coming soon!) along with some exciting games and fun, family-friendly entertainment.
Some highlights of the event:
Coonley Swag Raffle
Tickets cost $25 and will go on sale April 30th until May 15th at 7:30 p.m. The final drawing will take place during Spring Fling. Four lucky winners will receive some coveted Coonley swag!
Family Supporter
Show your support for Coonley by becoming a Spring Fling Family Supporter. There are four levels of Family Supporters - Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each level will earn you additional perks with a Bronze Family Supporter donation starting at $250.
Silent Auction
The silent auction will open one week prior to the event and close at 8:00 p.m. on May 15, 2021. The auction is completely online, so be sure to have a phone, tablet or laptop handy on the night of the event to make your bids. You will receive a text message if you have been outbid, and you will be alerted if you are the winning bidder. The person with the highest bid when the auction closes wins. Register early, mark your favorites and set your bids to win!
Fund-A-Need
Fund-a-Need is a straight donation to help Coonley raise additional funds for our school without receiving anything in return. Donors can give any amount on their device through fund-a-need.
Winner’s Choice Raffle
Make sure to buy your Ticket to our Winner’s Choice Raffle. Only 100 tickets will be sold for $100 each. One lucky winner will choose their dream getaway from one of three incredible options.
Mr. W on Piano
Everyone’s favorite music teacher is going to be on his piano live for the virtual event. You can purchase your song request votes and Mr. W will play the top 5 voted requests of the night.

- Make a direct charitable contribution. Your financial donation will be used to support all of our Coonley students. Help us celebrate 16 years of helping Coonley grow!
Are you ready for Spring Fling?
- Look for an email from your room rep with information on how to donate to your child’s Classroom Basket to be auctioned off at the event.
