Pride Stride is Coonley’s annual student fitness fundraiser that gives the entire community—parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors and friends—the chance to make a difference in our school. It all starts with an opening ceremony on the turf at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26.
Students will run or walk laps around the turf throughout the day with 8th graders participating in a special Color Run. A closing ceremony will cap off the event where we *hopefully* announce that our goal has been met! Family, neighbors, and friends are encouraged to come out and cheer on the students.
Our goal this year is to raise $125,000 which will help close the gap in CPS funding and refresh the gym's paint, floors and equipment. Funds raised will be used towards supporting teacher aides and improvements to the school to support health and wellness for all students.

How to Register Your Student for Pride Stride 2024
- Visit mybooster.com to log-in or create an account
- Type in “Coonley Pride Stride” to find Coonley’s event page
- Setup a profile for each of your students (it’s FREE to register!!)
- Once registered, use mybooster.com’s “Share Donation Page” function to send out donation requests to friends and family

We know the importance of outdoor play, so each milestone the students achieve will help improve gym and recess.
- All kids receive a T-shirt to wear during Pride Stride
- Registration Kick Off/Opening Ceremony: Customized Pride Stride vinyl sticker for all

- $50,000 Raised: Music at recess one day plus new blacktop games
- $75,000 Raised: Soccer/Football field lines added to turf + Outdoor Playground Communication Board added to field
- $100,000 Raised: School gets a new volleyball net and soccer goals for recess
- $125,000 Raised: Principals race winning class in inflatable patriotic costumes + an extra recess to enjoy the outdoor improvements
- Greater than $125,000: Improvements to the Coonley Rock Garden
- Class that Raised the Most: Race against the principals
- Most Spirited Class: Extra Hour of Field Day
- Best Decorated Door: Amazon Gift Card for classroom gift
- Family Incentive ($600 total raised): Any family that collectively raised over $600 will receive a Coonley all-weather blanket
