Pride Stride 2023

Pride Stride is Coonley’s annual student fitness fundraiser that gives the entire community—parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors and friends—the chance to make a difference in our school.
On event day, students will run, walk or dance their way around the Coonley campus based on grade.
The day will kick-off with an all school pep-rally, followed by students running laps by grade throughout the day. The day ends with a special Color Run for the 8th grade and then the closing ceremonies where we *hopefully* get to announce that our goal has been met! Parents are encouraged to come out and cheer on their kids.
Our goal this year is to raise $125,000 which will help close the gap in CPS funding and refresh the gym's paint, floors and equipment. Money raised will be used to keep class sizes small and provide social and emotional support for students.

How to Register Your Student for Pride Stride 2023
- Visit mybooster.com to log-in or create an account
- Type in “Pride Stride” to find Coonley’s event page
- Setup a profile for each of your students (it’s FREE to register!!)
- Once registered, use mybooster.com’s “Share Donation Page” function to send out donation requests to friends and family
- Customize your student’s profile with a photo of your student(s) that can be inserted into a fun video to send with your ask
- Double donations through your company's matching program. mybooster.com makes it easy. Just search for your organization's name.

Incentives for Participation
All support is appreciated, but the more participation, the more your student(s) and classrooms will be rewarded!
- Cool vinyl sticker for every student who registers on mybooster.com.
- Extra Hour of Field Day for the classroom that has the most school spirit.
- Pride Stride T-shirt for every student to wear on Pride Stride day.
- School-wide incentive: incentive experiences build as we climb towards our goal of $125K
- If we raise $50,000, all students will earn a pajama day!
- If we raise $100,000, there is a school wide popsicle party.
- If we meet our fundraising goal of $125,000, Principal Humphrey and Assistant Principal McLinden will be slimed with a special Halloween brew by the classroom that has raised the most funds!
- Family incentives: Families that raise $600 or more will receive a Coonley customized yeti!

It promotes fitnessLeading up to Pride Stride, students focus on health and fitness goals. On the day of the event they walk or run laps around Coonley's campus and take part in fun group exercises with their grade level.

It supports CoonleyTo help Coonley continue its tradition of excellence, students and families gather sponsorship pledges that help pay for Coonley's outstanding academics and extracurricular programming.
